Since I first saw a shot of Shingle Street in a photography magazine many moons ago, I have always been intrigued by this location. So today I took a trip out to get some long exposure shots featuring the coastguard cottages and shingle banks.
I decided to revisit Southwold Pier this evening as I wanted to get some more long exposure seascape photography of the pier and also some that feature the beach rocks situated to the left hand side of the pier.
This is the first time I have visited Aldeburgh and fell in love with the place straight away. There is so much to see and the shingle beach is a big difference to the sandy coast in my home town of Great Yarmouth.
