I stopped off at Corton this evening to get some long exposure shots of the coastline here as well as the beach rocks and sea groynes.
This stretch of coastline has been a continuous victim to coastal erosion. The coastline at Corton has recently been fortified with massive granite rocks and groynes to act as sea defences to help protect the cliff face from further erosion.
I photographed the rocks which make great subjects in the foreground and along with the now obsolete wooden groynes that are further in the background out to sea. As the sun set, I managed to get a few photographs featuring the moon just before the cloud cover blanketed the sky.
